For Immediate Release
March 19, 2015
As you are aware we are nearing (in May) what may be the end of the official investigation into the disappearance of Flight MH-370.
My own Independent Investigation is running concurrently with the official inquiry and we have indeed made some progress.
Most recently we resumed our audio analysis of the publicly released Air Traffic Control (ATC) recordings. I'm fortunate to be working with one of the premier audio analysts, Mr. Steve Barber. Mr. Barber has been involved in some of the most important and heavily publicized cases in audio recording history. Mr. Barber's work was seminal in investigating the Dallas Police Department Dictabelt which some claimed contained the sounds of gunfire in the JFK assassination.
Mr. Barber, under the auspices of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) worked directly with a panel of the Committee on Ballistic Acoustics (CBA), which included two Nobel prize-winning physicists, Norman F. Ramsey, chairman of the committee, and the late Luis Alvarez, who were hired by the Justice Department to reexamine earlier findings of the acoustics experts hired by the House Select Committee on Assassinations. More recently, Barber assisted several members of the CBA panel who regrouped for the purpose of examining a 2001 acoustics paper by Donald Thomas, published in the journal ‘Science and Justice’ (2001:41 p21-32). Thomas criticized the CBA's findings.
Mr. Barber has also analyzed audio recordings relating to the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. In 2011, Steve was consulted by the California State Attorney General's office to assist in their opposition to convicted Kennedy assassin Sirhan B. Sirhan's request for federal habeas relief.
The initial review of the ATC recording has strengthened my suspicions, but more analysis is required before any firm findings can be released. Mr. Barber's analysis and final conclusions will be independent of any opinions expressed by myself.
I am currently soliciting a select few expert individuals who would be interested in adding their names to my proposal which would seek to formulate an Independent Inquiry into Flight MH370 with continuing deep sea search efforts.
The first signatory in support of my proposal was former NTSB Board Member Dr. Vernon Grose.** Dr. Grose is also the author of the best seller, 'MANAGING RISK' Systematic Loss Prevention for Executives. Vern is the Founder and Chairman of Omega Systems Group Incorporated.
This endeavor will be neither simple nor cheap and I have entered into this proposition with that full realization.
I am currently fleshing out the details and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
If you feel you are qualified and have any interest in simply adding your name or that of your business or organization as supporters, please submit your information for vetting, or if you wish further information kindly advise me.
